This is a game of imperfect information, played by two players on the same device. Hide instructions

Click a tank (), then click on the hexagon ( or ) you want to order it to move to. When you are satisfied with your orders, click "Submit Orders" and give the device to your opponent (if you're playing as Orange) or watch with your opponent as your orders are executed (if you're playing as Purple).

You don’t always know where your opponent’s tanks are.
  • If a tank is in a Wooded (green ) cell, it is visible only to other tanks in that cell.
  • If a tank is in a Cleared (tan ) cell, it is also visible to tanks in adjacent cells—including those skulking in the nearby woods!
To maintain this secrecy, after each player submits their orders, the game gives instructions about who should be looking at the screen during the next part of the game.

Step 1: Each player gives their orders in secret / First, each player gives orders to each of their tanks (tanks can either move to adjacent cells or remain in their current cell).
Tanks will change shape when given orders: a hexagonal tank () is not moving, a wedge shaped tank () is pointing towards its destination.
When you're done, click "Submit Orders", and the game will let you know who should be watching the next step.

Step 2: Tanks engage in combat

Combat is resolved in random order, for any pair of tanks that meets these conditions:

  • Any pair of opposing tanks moving to the same cell target each other: each has a 50% chance of destroying the other.
  • Tanks in Wooded cells target opposing tanks in adjacent Cleared cells.
  • Tanks in adjacent Cleared cells target each other: each has a 50% chance of destroying the other.
Any tank that fires will be visible to the opposing player when they are giving their next set of orders. To avoid this, may be designated as Sneaking. Tanks that are Not Sneaking will target any tank they can; tanks that are Sneaking will not reveal their position by firing (but if their position would already be known, e.g. because another tank shares their cell, they will fire).

Your goal is to destroy your opponent’s tanks or occupy their Base /

Victory is achieved by either (1) destroying all your opponent's tanks, or (2) by occupyint their opponent's Base (the colored cells at opposite corners of the arena /). A tank must survive the ensuing round of combat to be considered as having occupied the opponent's Base.
Tiebreaker: if both players occupy their opponent's Base on the same round, the player with the most Tanks remaining wins; if both players have an equal number of Tanks, the game ends in a tie.
